Reports from the World Bank on 06 April 2012 state that The World Banks Board of Directors endorsed the Interim Strategy Note for West Bank and Gaza that outlines the direction of assistance from 2012 2014. The strategy builds on the World Banks existing development projects in higher education, energy, land administration, water and sanitation, and solid waste management and adds new ones in response to needs identified with the Palestinians.
